Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to the Lee Care Services website at leecareservices.co.uk. It was prepared on 5 June 2026.

Lee Care Services is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including older adults, people with disabilities, and people who use assistive technologies. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, regardless of how they access it.

Our commitment

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level A and Level AA. These guidelines are produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make digital content accessible to people with disabilities.

What you should be able to do

Using this website, you should be able to:

  • Zoom to 300% without content overflowing off the screen or becoming unusable.
  • Navigate entirely by keyboard, every interactive element is reachable by pressing Tab, and a skip-to-content link appears at the top of every page.
  • Use speech recognition software (such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking) to click, fill in forms, and navigate.
  • Use a screen reader (such as NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver) to listen to all content, navigate by headings, and operate all form controls.
  • Read all text at sufficient contrast against its background, no information is conveyed by colour alone.
  • Change the text size using browser controls without losing content or functionality.

We are not aware of any parts of this website that fail to meet WCAG 2.2 Level A or AA at the time of publication. If you find something that does not work for you, please tell us (see below).

The Google Maps embed on our Contact page is provided by a third party. We cannot guarantee its accessibility, but we provide the address in plain text alongside the map so that you can use an alternative mapping service if preferred.

Technical information

This website is built using React and relies on standard HTML semantics, headings, landmarks, form labels, and ARIA attributes to communicate structure and meaning to assistive technologies. All images have meaningful alternative text or are marked as decorative. Form inputs have visible, persistent labels.

The site has been designed and tested to be operable with a keyboard alone, and the colour palette meets the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.

How we tested this website

This website was last tested against WCAG 2.2 on 5 June 2026. Testing covered keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility (VoiceOver and NVDA), colour contrast, and form accessibility.
